The First Step
THE FINANCIAL ASSESSMENT
Before we touch your portfolio, we learn how you think about money.
Both of you.
You built your wealth with discipline.
But when was the last time you sat down and got truly clear on what that wealth is for?
Not the spreadsheet version. The real version.

→ What keeps you up at night.
→ What you'd do differently if you felt confident about where things stand.
→ Where you and your partner see money the same way.
→ And, where you quietly don't.

Most advisors skip this conversation entirely.

They make you fill out a questionnaire then plug your numbers in a template.

Then they wonder why you still feel anxious...
The Financial Assessment starts somewhere different. It starts with you.
Session 1:
What matters to you (and where you might disagree)
We use a structured discovery process to surface your values, your goals, and your actual relationship with money. Not the version you perform for financial professionals. The real one.
If you have a partner, this is where alignment happens. Not by compromising, but by understanding how each of you actually thinks about wealth, risk, and what "enough" means. This conversation often becomes the most valuable part of the engagement.
If you're considering a transition, whether that's selling a business, stepping back from a leadership role, or entering retirement, this session includes a reality check on whether your wealth is structured to support what comes next.
For business owners, that includes lifestyle funding and business value context for planning purposes. This is not a formal business valuation.
Session 2:
Where your wealth has structure and where it doesn't
We evaluate your current financial life against the functional Roles every dollar should fill. We identify structural gaps, behavioral blind spots, and risks you may not have considered.
This isn't a sales pitch for our ongoing services. It's a diagnostic. We examine your financial system with the same rigor applied to any system built to perform under pressure, and we tell you what we find.
What you get
A summary report that shows you clearly what's working, what isn't, and what needs attention.

You own this report. It's yours whether you decide to work with us further or not.
The report identifies three things:

1. Where your current structure may lack the Roles or Rules designed to help navigate market volatility

2. How your personal relationship with money should influence your portfolio's design

3. A clear roadmap of what needs attention first.
